Still Open
JCDecaux
On October 29, a flood swept through Valencia, taking lives, nomes, and the dreams of hundred of small business owners. Entire towns were left paralyzed, with almost no economic activity and streets nearly empty of potential customers.
These businesses lost their main point of sale: their storefront. Months later, sixty percent of street-level shops remained closed. Forgotten. Invisible.
JCDecaux, the world's largest outdoor media company, has spent years helping businesses grow through innovation and visibility.

The idea was to transform out-of-home media spaces into the storefronts of closed businesses in Valencia, life-size images of real shops and the people behind them, placed inside the metro.
Each ad invited people to interact by scanning a QR code that led to an e-commerce platform.
But instead of selling products, people could donate the exact cost of what these shops used to offer: haircuts, meals, or shoes. And that's how we turned our media into their new selling point.
