By October 10th, 2023, over 2.3 million people rode the Madrid metro every day. Brands? Not one. For them, subway ads just weren’t sexy—street OOH had all the attention.

So, JCDecaux asked us to prove those empty spaces worked.
And we thought, why not put a 100-year-old Galician grandma on a billboard?

It started as a joke, but ended up working really well.

Now, thanks to Marina, brands are back in the metro and we went to Cannes for the first time in our lives.

It’s been a wild ride, but most of all, a fun one… and isn’t that what jokes are for?

And just in case you're wondering... 

Marina and Curro have the same last name, but she’s not his grandma.

Though we wouldn’t mind if she was.
